In memory of 6 million Jews slaughtered for just being Jewish. 1.5 Million Jewish children. Many with none left to mourn them. 17 Million killed by Hitler’s hate led masses. 80 million dead in World War II. ?

When they praise Pinochet and joke about throwing people out of airplanes, what they are saying is that they wouldn't mind seeing their neighbors tortured to death. Ordinary people who love their families can get to this point quite easily.

Today we found long lost family that we thought perished in the (and thought our side had also perished). It’s humbling to remember what had happened, and what had to happen to bring us back together. 🇮🇱🇺🇸

When interviewing my great-grandmother A”H, a Holocaust survivor, at the age of 13, I asked her what her message to our generation was. “3 words,” she said. “Just be nice.” It’s just as simple as that, being nice will make the world a better place. This is how we remember.
