Orphaned Emoli, Sagala and Godoma were all rescued from the Tsavo Conservation Area (at different times) after they were found alone & in desperate need of help. Safely in our care, all 3 have found the love of a new family, lots of milk & the promise of a wild future

56 orphaned have returned to the wild from our Ithumba Reintegration Unit but many of them choose to pop back from time to time to say hello to the Keepers that raised them, socialise with the dependent orphans & take advantage of the supplements we leave out!

It's time for the morning milk feed. However it would be chaotic to try & bottle feed the 16 orphaned at our Nursery all at once! Instead, the orphans congregate together &are guided by their keepers as to when they, in small groups can head down for their bottles
