There is certainly a massive amount of information to support the assertion of US actions in Indochina as "close to genocidal." The problem is that one has to work very hard to get around the current positioning of our actions there as "bumbling efforts to do good."

Thank you, . What a powerful reminder for those of us in the UK, where the poisonous politics of Tory victory and have left many feeling discouraged, that just as gendered racial capitalism is international in scale, so the struggle against it must also be.

We focused most of conversation on Fear City. Most surprising thing was how deep social democracy was embedded in the city prior to the crisis of 70s. Was this surprising to you? Is this a gap in our collective memory? If so, what explains the gap?

1. The DNC process sucked. 2. Bloomberg SHOULD be on the debate stage at this point. The reality is that he has bought himself into contention and shouldn’t be able to avoid scrutiny by moderators and competitors. 3. Oligarchy is real.

This is literally the most impressive game of the season so far. To be playing the best team in the league after playing the hottest team in the league the night before ... on the road... while missing three starters and your backup center... this is crazy!

That anyone is incredulous about this is a huge tell. US war in Vietnam was close to genocidal and I don’t use that word lightly.

The Bloomberg campaign got my name wrong and didn’t even have the decency to respond to my question.

Foreign policy doesn't usually swing elections, but I don't think these attacks are going to work at all. I think Bernie's ideas have broad appeal

In the US phase of war, approximately 2 million Vietnamese civilians and 1 million combatants were killed, along with a chemical poisoning of the land that lingers to this day, (members of my extended family in the US and Vietnam, are still dying of cancer after two generations.)
