I've gone from covering computer viruses to real ones and am finding it... actually quite similar. Here I look at the scientists trying to find a vaccine, just like cyber security experts rush to develop a patch. Except fast in science is within months.

As part of a collaboration with the PBS series Frontline, we interviewed Alec Burlakoff - Insys vp of sales turned star witness for the prosecution - who said he had no idea there could be criminal consequences for their actions. Many presumed a fine would be the worst penalty.
