Sadly I hear that many of my cohort have graduated disillusioned with the job. That is very sad. I’m really happy with my choice but many are now facing a career that is not what they thought. Not all but enough to ask ‘what’s going wrong?’

It is wishy washy language to call it “different” gut bacteria. How about “disturbed” or even “risky”? The language of the dominant paradigm downplays the risks they contribute to.

Cheers to for curating a wonderful festival ‘afon’. It was great to share some of my writing and dancing from my work in Abercych Village Hall. Thank you to everyone that came along! (image: Ray Jacobs)

I think it’s a whole systems issue. We need to start where we are, and calling out bad behaviour when we see it is one very important action. Of course organisations have a responsibility but that shouldn’t stop any of us doing whatever we can to ensure we treat each other kindly

I totally agree. But intimidated people will be fearful of speaking out. Especially students and nq. Stress caused by staff shortage has to be a duty of care issue imo

Thank you for sharing. This is good practice ( but sad it even has to be made so obvious that it is needed ) ☹️
