We are very happy to have successfully onboarded class 28 completely digitally. While we do miss the social interaction from our classes at , we are starting to realize the big benefits we have when being able to manage education and jobs online!

The Fellowship is a community of developers supporting refugees-turned-coders to start their tech careers. Over the course of 6-12 weeks, mentors guide graduates from HackYourFuture to create a portfolio project that they will use to apply for their first job as a web developer.

What a journey it has been. Early 2018 five of our graduates started their internship at . A few months later, after lots of blood, sweat, and tears, all five were hired as full-time developers.

Only 11% of the refugees who arrived in The Netherlands in 2014 had a job within 2.5 years, yet more than 85% of our graduates find a job as a developer. Meaningful, high-quality jobs that bring in tax revenues and help to fill job vacancies in the IT sector.
