Delighted that all EU countries led by Liberals and Democrats signed up to an ambitious roadmap for action on rights today, but it's worrying that so many EU countries didn't. This shows the fight for equality in Europe is, regrettably, a live one.

Citizens cannot be the victims of a no–deal , nor used as bargaining chips. In the case of no deal, the wants the Citizens' rights deal to be ring–fenced & the EU must honour this. The citizens' rights deal shouldn't be watered down as the UK today proposes.

Good to see some progress on reform of the . A stronger common currency means a more prosperous Europe for citizens. EU leaders should adopt these measures at the next summit and also give their ministers the task to prepare a euro zone budget.
