Yes, I'm making a callout because you have no external appeal process and an appeal that literally has the same reviewers point at images and say 'that's bad'

Would really appreciate some RTs and mileage to help show just how absurd Google Play 'silent manual reviews' are

Apple is universally hated for having a manual review process, but at least they are transparent in state and provide external appeals by another team. Google think they've cracked this by doing it silently but this is what you end up facing

Wow, I was wondering if part of the issue was due to censoring... Way to go , there's nothing candid about this game at all, and there's worse apps on your store that you let slip by anyway.

The supposed implied meaning of those "rules" is just off. You don't seem to be in violation of any of those. Unless my eyes are lying to me.

Hi Guy, sorry to hear of your policy issue. Going via email notification is best route for resolving, which should also indicate the correct image flagged. I've also passed on your feedback of this frustration to the team as we're always looking to improve!

This was my first point of contact but 2days to reply while an update is held is pretty unacceptable (2days later all I got was a 'glad it was resolved' email anyway, having manually removed the image myself) It's frustrating that there no external review or appeal process

Also, from randomly removing metadata to try and resolve the issue, this image did seem to be the one in question. Therefore this tweet chain is more about calling out the judgement than actually asking for asking for details on a policy violation.
