Exciting work from Liu et al. who demonstrate a method to view <50 kDa proteins by cryo-em. They use a designed protein particle that present multiple DARPins on the surface. As a proof of principle the DARPins are designed to bind GFP.

Here is a video of the invasion of Toxoplasma gondii, you can see the parasite pushing itself beneath the plasma membrane of its host cell . This fascinating process was the focus of my PhD work in lab and I'm still in love with it.
