The oil from citrus fruits is volatile and flammable. It is primarily the D-Limonene in the oil that vaporises and ignites. The flash point is 50°C. Limonene is used as orange flavouring, in cleaning products and may have uses as biofuel.

d-limonene is also a fairly decent styrene cement; some companies use it as a less dangerous replacement in their cements. Testors is a good example.

If I remember my chemistry correctly one isomer of limonene smells of oranges as you've said, and the other smells of lemons.
