A7: The Old St. Joseph Cemetery preserves the brick tombs and few remaining tombstones of the residents of the vanished city, St. Joseph. It is a great site to learn about this old forgotten city.

A5: Provisions on Reid Avenue is a local favorite to Enjoy fresh, high quality, culturally diverse, and beautifully prepared food. Some of the favorites are Paella on Friday and their Saint Joe Bouillabaisse!

A3: Our Gulf County Turtle Trail showcases several beautifully crafted turtles that have been painted by local artist! It is a great activity to do! If you find all the turtles you can receive a free stainless steel straw!

A2: The Forgotten Coast en Plein Air is a wonderful 10-day festival where you can see world-renowned artists in all types of mediums creating art throughout Gulf County and other areas. You have enough time to book for 2020!

A6: How about some lighthouses? The Cape San Blas Lighthouse located in Port St. Joe is one of four in a driving range along HWY 98. This is an easy activity to do for the whole family and you get to learn a little history along the way!

A5: It is hard to pack a lot into one weekend so we suggest going somewhere familiar where you can do something new! Gulf County is a great place to explore and try something new, like seeing a turtle nest evaluation and possibly a hatchling or two!

A4: Port St. Joe is the perfect weekend getaway. You can do everything within walking distance from your accommodations. Shop, eat, walk, watch the sunset over St. Joseph Bay, and most of all, just relax and enjoy.

A2: You cannot beat the drive on HWY 98 from Perry all the way to Pensacola. Check out this map that explores some of those cool places off of HWY 98 like Reid Avenue in Port St. Joe where you can find the historic Port Theatre!
