I picked one that seemed right then googled it and got 3 different answers in the first three results, two of which were from the Wikipedia articles on U-235 and Critical Mass respectively.

It was being a bit flaky earlier but I managed to get the order through.

Can't ID anything for sure, but wouldn't be surprised if it was Altium.
If impedance control is critical on those parts, the rotation may have been done on purpose to avoid impedance mismatch between traces due to the fibreglass weave on the PCB material.

A few days ago we found out we might be getting some bad news about a family member's health. Yesterday the doctors confirmed the worst. It's been rough.
JAXA Rilakkuma turned up today. A new friend for our resident space bear. A small comfort to help ease the worry and sadness. pic.twitter.com/IeB1h3dM3z

Yup, I bought it. Yup, it looked 100% real. Reverse image searched the photo from the listing and it wasn't taken from somewhere else. All the details looked perfect. I got a tracking number - he was on his way! :D

Next morning I woke up, went to the conference, did not remember any of this at all. It wasn't until a few days later that the memory resurfaced and I had to go digging through my eBay account history to check whether I'd bought it and if it was even the real thing.

Fake. Fake. Fake. Wait... that one looks real! And it's not ludicrously expensive! And the seller is in Japan! My memory is a bit fuzzy, but I remember digging up the official San-X images and cross referencing every detail. I even used an app to overlay the images to check.

A few weeks ago I was at BSides Leeds. I went out on the pre-conference party and waaaay overdid it on the booze. Whoops. If you saw me the next morning you'll probably remember how dead I looked. But during my drunkenness I randomly thought to look at eBay again.

Anyway, the JAXA Rilakkuma plushies ended up like gold dust. I tried finding one for her a few times but all I found was obvious fakes. A year ago I found a real one in original packaging on eBay but it ended up selling for $170. I pretty much gave up on finding one.

I've ended up as an almost expert level detective on fake Rilakkuma stuff, just from the times I've bought her stuff for birthdays/xmas. I know where labels should be and what colour the thread is on logos. I've cross-referenced official San-X promo images with product photos.

The other problem is that there's a *huge* fakes market for Rilakkuma products. They're all over eBay, they're vastly inferior quality, and some of them are downright hilarious (e.g. eyes at the same level as the nose). Even the one pictured above is a bit suspect (ear symmetry).

They were limited edition and retailed for about $40, but unfortunately they immediately sold out before she could get her hands on one. eBay had a few on auction but they were going for $100+, and that's before tax and import duty to the UK. Unfortunately couldn't justify it.

I don't know how many of you know what Rilakkuma is, but my wife is obsessed. She's got a bunch of plushies. I have to admit, they are VERY cute.
She's also a huge space nerd, and in 2014 San-X made an officially licensed JAXA Rilakkuma plushie. A match made in heaven, right? pic.twitter.com/SGVuptAQPH
