If you haven't already read wrenching and remarkably rendered piece, pick up a copy of Sunday's where we've devoted an entire special section to the amazing story.

yeah, I too felt that there was a climate problem (in addition to bad apples). But I think the new headmaster is v good, recognizes what's v good about the school and the need for change. I do think places like Landon are particularly susceptible to a bunker mentality.

I think “Pancho and Lefty” is the best country song ever. Also like “To Live is to Fly” and his cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Dead Flowers.”

Read this excellent piece by my Post colleagues: Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford moved 3,000 miles to reinvent her life. It wasn’t far enough.

Reading through the tweets, it strikes me that this isn’t just my story. It’s our story. It’s America. It’s our families. It’s our education system. It’s our workplace. It’s our politics. It’s our Supreme Court. It’s happening to you, too.

I wrote this about my HS experience at Landon School (a Bethesda boy's prep school) in the 1980s. I hope it sheds some light on the Kavanaugh story and why it dredges up so many conflicting emotions.

This piece is really thought provoking: Polarization. Conspiracy theories. Attacks on the free press. An obsession with loyalty. Recent events in the United States follow a pattern Europeans know all too well. offers a warning from Europe:
