Thread - Today the Examiner covered my complaint to ASAI about AirBnB listing of rentals in illegal settlements in occupied Palestine as being in Israel. While de jure annexation hasn't happened (yet) we must not normalise the de facto annexation.

We started our tour of last week with a trip to the wonderful Clara Bog. From there we headed west towards Shannonbridge and Shannon Harbour. So much to see in your lockdown county - find and enjoy!

It's not over yet. To pretend things will go to normal on an arbitrary date at the end of this month or that is irresponsible. We need to start acknowledging that. Feeling the sympathy for the 3 counties. Wash hands, wear masks keep a safe distance. We all need to do our part.

Excellent thread on how cycling could be a primary mode of transport throughout East Cork. Everywhere connected. Proper public engagement & political will would make this a reality. Businesses would flourish & we’d enjoy life so much more.

On our peatland travels across Ireland the most sickening thing we see is litter. Every small piece of litter discarded on a bog stays there forever and spoils the place. So, please abide by the Govt campaign to Love this Place, and Leave No Trace.
