I enjoy tea, and make songwriting look really really difficult. It's actually quite easy, kids! Don't let me fool you. Musician, writer, husband, & dad.

Zork! The first computer game I ever played, at my cousin's house. It was awesome:

For big banks to continue to gamble like freewheeling idiots is the height of hubris; and the reality of arms-length liability -- none of the people making these bad decisions will experience any real consequences:

Large groups of people believing empirically false things is not just a modern problem, but having access to the info and not understanding it is pure 21st century. Barf.

An excellent question! Because there are plenty of conspiracy theorists who think they are simply skeptics, but their skepticism is poorly applied.

I'm very happy to give anyone anywhere as much slack as they need! I'm unqualified to hold anyone to any sort of standard. I think that's my only point: I'm largely unqualified.

I think it's sweet, & the songs aren't bad at all! It's also surprising in a way that makes me hope this songwriter finds a manager or someone to let them gently know that asking me to cover their song is a step backward from zero.

I got an e-mail yesterday from someone saying: "Hi...I like the music on the website and am writing to ask if original music can be submitted?" I'm not sure what the music is being submitted to, except my questionable taste, so I said sure, send me some music.

I definitely wondered how these light guns worked. I looked down the barrel and pulled the trigger more than once and now I can't see in the infrared, so I'm pretty sure that's not a coincidence...

We have a fancy digital bathroom scale and the only interesting thing I've learned from it is that my clothes weigh almost exactly 3.0 lbs, every day. I do change my clothes, just FYI.

It's hard to describe Peter Frampton's music without sounding like a mildly melodic version of Charlie Brown's teacher.
