God’s word is God's wisdom & you cannot fail by adhering to His word. When you are travelling to an unknown place, you will take directions from those who have been there. The best directions in life can be taken from the Ancient of days who knows the end from the beginning.

Both the wise man who built on the rock and the foolish man who built on sand had a choice to make. It could have gone either way and both of them could have ended up building on the rock or sand but at the end of the day wisdom was the distinguishing factor.

Life is full of choices & one thing choices will force us to do is to make decisions. The quality of your decisions will to a very large extent determine the quality of your life. One thing that helps us to make the better decisions is called wisdom.

Everyone of us will have to build his life. Some lives are built on falsehood while some lives are built of truth. Some lives are built on cutting corners while some lives are built on going through the full process but whatever you build your life on will eventually show.

One of the best foundations we can build on in life is called wisdom. Hearing God’s word keeps you informed but it is doing His word that makes you i.e. it is the evidence of wisdom. Hearing plus obedience according to Jesus is the proof of wisdom.

Nothing in life compares to having the right foundation. Whether in business, in marriage, in our finances etc. building on the right foundation is extremely important. Time will tell whether you have built on the right foundation or not.

Jesus said only those who do the will of the Father will enter the kingdom of heaven. The will of the Father is, “Whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.” Believing in Jesus and accepting Him as Lord and Saviour is the will of the Father.

These are the people Jesus is referring to here & Paul said these people have a form of godliness but in works they deny him. We are in perilous times & not everyone in church is born again; church for some people has become a social club and for some a business melting point.

We are in a period where we have to be on our guard and extremely discerning. There are so many people who come to church, take part in all church activities, are always around church people but aren’t truly born again.
