Had one bite of one pickle and whoops now we're splitting this $17 pickle plate evenly, sure do wish I'd known that before I expressed curiosity about the pickles

Well to be fair, there were two types of mustard, too. So, ya know. $17.

Friend ordered edimame at a sushi place recently and for the first time ever I was clever enough not to eat it with him. Proudest moment ever. I don't like edimame and always get roped in to eating one and then splitting the bill.

I'm so proud of you! Some day I will be as wise as you, although I think I'll probably get burned a few more times, if I'm being honest

That's how they get you! Don't give in to the curiosity! It turns out no pickle plate is worth $17. I give you this hard-won wisdom for free, do with it what you will (don't eat the pickles)
