I think <iframe sandbox> with provided Service Workers could unlock some really interesting (user empowering) applications. Maybe there a chance we could enhance standard to enable that ?

I have been thinking a lot about Elinor Ostrom's work in relation to protocol governance design. More and more so, I believe it gives important insight into how the web 3 economy improves upon our current:

This is genius! 🤯 Fortnite encourages players to enable by offering a free in-game item. Here is the catch: once you get the item, you must to give it to another player. Gamers will get their *friends* to enable 2FA so they can get the item! Clever use of social pressure!

Personally was convinced to give it a try as it was addressing problem with long typing sessions on QWERTY that caused wrist pain. Never had that since switching

Sure but you don’t necessarily need import maps, have being using deno approach and it works great

Have being using JS without any compilation lately and it’s a blast! People talk about name mapping not supported but deno approach works fine IMO & mapping isn’t necessary

Yeah Dat, IPFS, SSB all utilize mdns for local sync. Thanks for the pointer I’ll take a look at osm-p2p

I’ve being thinking for quite some time that there’s nothing inherently preventing either of them to adopt alternative replication mechanisms inspired by SSB pubs. I would really love such thing to emerge

allows you to pin stuff. allows you to serve from your own domain, but AFIK there is nothing that will let you do it with https.

Does this suggest there is growing interest in P2P 🤔

It also bothered me that it totally ignores blockchains that aren't logically centralized or require consensus like

I really wanted to use instead, but sadly failed to find on option that would meet requirements: 1. Custom domain support 2. TLS 3. Payed pinning. There are offerings that address each one but nothing to address all.

End up setting up static site with AWS S3 and cloudfront for subdomain routing, which seems needlessly complicated, there are official AWS guides but none cover it end to end. This post is a step by step guide to do exactly that
