Challenges met – 2015-19. Reduced the time to 45 days to move youth dually-involved in DCFS and juvenile justice systems from detention to home or home-like settings. It used to average 104 days. #IllinoisProud

Challenges met – 2015-19. Technology transformation. Nearly 90% of licensees (1.1 million) now apply and renew licenses online. Drastically reduced license processing times from an average 86 calendar days in January 2015 to about 39 calendar days in March 2018. #IllinoisProud

During our term, we made important progress in education, government operations, healthcare services, tech job growth, and criminal justice. @LtSanguinetti and I highlighted some of our achievements and some challenges that remain.

$3.7M early childhood grant will help strengthen state programs so that every child is well-prepared for kindergarten and beyond. Children with a strong educational and developmental foundation are much more likely to be successful in life. Grant is a huge help in that mission.
