Deliveries of replacement machines and repairs will begin a few days later. , which owns the brands, is recalling more than half a million washing machines because of a fire risk. It's recorded 79 fires because of electronic door locks overheating

The recall of and washing machines will start formally on Thursday 9th January. Owners of the affected machines who register on a dedicated website will be asked from that date whether they want a repair or a replacement.
