As I've been a conduit of the viciousness of the world as of late, an utter festering black hole in tattered human flesh; I'm gonna talk about some game design people and stuff I've been enjoying as of late or for a long time.

Has always shown themselves to be a kind and goodly person. The works created by TLN are ripe with a creative sense of existence within a lived in world, one that doesn't feel manufactured and has a root integrity to it which is precious and of value.

TLN & just put out the Lowcountry Crawl magazine which I love, it is delightful and flavorful, has a good payout idea, and I can see myself taking inspiration from it for my own purposes. You can buy/pre-order physical here:

Marquis or fame, makes spells interesting and goes on in detail adding flavorful interpretation of things. I like a lot of their setting ideas, and they've got a habit for elegant subsystems that can be added to a game without feeling tacked on.

has long had great content and looking at the blog today, there's a lot of cool sci-fi stuff going on that I'd probably make use of if ever I was able to run a science fiction game.

is literally the reason Rakehell was written so quick, and that's a good thing. I miss his reviews, he was a good community tentpole, regardless of if he asked for that role. I respect him a lot and he enriches the medium.

is a good play report podcast by a bunch of diverse people and they're solid if you like L5R but might be put off by its history of gross negligence with regards to human decency and personhood. Which is to say they're inclusive and better than the core setting.
