1. AG Barr’s DOJ says we can’t prosecute a criminal president. So it’s beyond dispute that the president IS above our criminal laws. 2. McConnell blocked all incriminating witnesses, documents & evidence from being used in the Senate impeachment hearing (don’t call it a “trial”).

In a very real sense, McConnell’s “no witnesses” rule means we can’t impeach a criminal president. So, the president IS above the impeachment clause of the Constitution. And now, 3. The Supreme Court will decide if We The People will get to see ...

Trump’s tax returns & financial documents to determine if he’s committed tax crimes & financial fraud (as Michael Cohen testified he did). If SCOTUS rules in favor of Trump, allowing him to hide from the people the evidence of his financial and tax crimes ...

Trump will also be above our civil laws. If he is above our criminal laws thanks to Barr, above impeachment thanks to McConnell and above our civil laws thanks to SCOTUS, Trump will have hit the trifecta of dictatorship. And our republic will be lost.

Do you know of any SCOTUS decision in which the court has interpreted the word "shall" in a statute to mean anything other than "get 'er done"?

I have no doubt that SCOTUS will rule in favor of Trump. I have lost faith in all of the levers of government under Republican control.

Sadly agree. Sheldon Whitehouse has done an excellent job cataloguing the Roberts court. He makes a strategic few decisions and talks a good game about impartiality and independence, but Whitehouse's stats are compelling. Roberts finds for specific GOP interests 95% of the time.

Gonna need an IRS whistleblower to dump Trumps tax returns. GoFundMe to follow as they will be outed and fired.

Not IF, but when WHEN. Current SCOTUS will never rule against Trump. as long as is around. TODAY, we do not have a legitimate Attorney General or SCOTUS.
