Went to both this year. I would recommend SPB - it’s very beautiful! Helsinki is nice as well but doesn’t have as much character.

Where do you find Moldovan chocolate in the UK? I have only seen it in Chisinau!

I have seen domain age influence results far too many times for there to not be some causation. Not just correlation! The 9 month domain "sandbox" especially seems to be a real thing.

I agree in many ways. We fully recognize that ultimately we’re on Google’s platform and it’s up to us to make the best of it, but it’s not in good faith for Google to go behind our backs. Even if it’s an outsourced Regalix rep. I’m hoping I hear some more from Google.

Thanks for the post, Barry. It’s been a common thing we’ve seen over the past few months. I did get a good response from Google saying that they were embarrassed about the email and it wasn’t what they expected from their reps.

I have spoken to Google and it is indeed a Google rep, unfortunately (contracted through Regalix). They did apologize for the email.

I have spoken to his manager since and gotten some more info. It was indeed a Google authorized rep (working for Regalix which is who Google contracts). Happy to chat privately more if anyone has specific questions!

But then again if too many warning signs are there, just stay firm to your normal operating procedure and do a good job and fire them if they don’t warm up to you after a month or so.

I used to think my gut was perfect, but it’s not. Some of our best long term clients have been absolutely tough to work with in the first few weeks. Many of them come from a bad previous experience.

I will do that, but this is a wider ongoing problem. It would be nice if you could not bother agency clients with these aggressive emails.

Isn't that a bit overly aggressive??? We literally just did not want to switch to automated bidding.

Hi can you explain why you're emailing our clients saying we "denied to take down the update"?

Unless you have (or are trying to get) a client relationship with them, I wouldn't intrude. There are millions of sites out there, none of them are your responsibility unless they're a client.
