This may sound like a cop out, but Identity still feels an unsolved problem. I don’t think we quite have all the pieces of the puzzle yet, which is why I still advocate paper above all else. I think blockchain is part of the solution, but it’s not enough.

Paper is underrated as a voting mechanism. Yes you can fraud it, but not without a lot of people being involved. Blockchains have some flaws but they are the only tech I’d trust for voting. Closed source voting machines are a recipe for disaster.
