Final Q of the night: Is there data about average CBA amounts with PUDs? A: Yes, there's data about the affordability of PUDs. It's showing also we have 2000 units stuck in litigation. The PUD data took 6 mos to put together. If it would be useful, could build.

60000 some lots COULD have ADUs, but only a few hundred DO. How do we amp that up?

A: Broadly, new plan will help us to figure out where those opportunities are at what scale? How do we amp up from 40 new ADUs/year to 5k? On the comp plan vs. zoning, they have to be consistent. BZA, PUDs are the way forward w/ that. Keep looking for tweaks.

Q: Re: where affordable housing *is* in the city. When new Comp Plan comes out, what's OP's attitude to help zoning be flexible to incentivize more density in less-dense (single family) weird lots, short of BZA hearings?

A: meets w/ 3+ other agency heads (including DDOT) on AVs regularly. Two real value-ads of OP: (1) Urban designers thinking about what public space looks like, and (2) how do we think about implications [of AVs] in 20 years? Long-term w/o jumping too early

A: Those plans (including MoveDC, etc.) all feed into the Comp Plan, and inform it. Working to figure out how our art scene and community can continue to thrive and grow.

Q: How can the arts community best communicate with to better be integrated into planning? Why is this arts plan (she holds up) separate from the Comp Plan?
