Exciting! One use for tui is admin consoles for cloud apps. Being able to alternate between in-browser and over secure shell is useful. Are you planning on closely focusing on making the in-browser ui very usable for real work?

Thanks! I agree with you and I want to see if this can be actually useful for making terminal apps with UI - like debugging/development tools. Not sure about the in-browser applications though.. for example, why not just use imgui-js instead

I think down the line we could look at replacing ImDrawList with custom impl ... (imgui-ws would also benefit similar work to be done on ImDrawList!). Feedback welcome if you think there is a path to make text output actually viable, probably a little far fetched but hey, fun.

Yes, having custom ImDrawList would be helpful. Regarding the text output: I'm still experimenting, so not sure yet what would be the best draw data. Ideally, I would like to keep Dear ImGui untouched if possible - now I had to go in and make some dirty changes here and there
