Literally me, for all three girls. Worked for April and Beth, but I did not anticipate how often I would be asked "how are you spelling that?" about Georgia. Replying "correctly" to that question tended to be unpopular....

You are allowed to change you mind. Just listening, it feels like there has been quite a bit of that going on this week in NZ. Awesome.

I'll never understand why some confuse showing solidarity with the Muslim community and promoting conservative Islamic dogmas. Muslim lives are as valuable as everyone else's. We can make that clear without placing extra value on religious ideology

I have been deeply moved by the extraordinary display of humanity by the people of New Zealand over the past week. Your hearts & your hakas have lifted the spirits of a grieving world. Kia kaha.

Today, we stood together as one Spark: a Muslim prayer, a karakia, a minute’s silence. We hugely value and respect the Muslim members of our team. We take this attack on them and their faith as an attack on our values (1/2)

Like Muslims after an attack by Islamist terrorists, it’s a bit annoying to hear this terrorist called “right wing”. I believe in low tax, free markets & free trade, property rights, personal liberty & globalisation. There’s nothing right wing about this terrorist. But anyway.

There couldn’t really be a better place to mark the connection between Muslim and other New Zealanders than a ground. Great choice of venue.

I haven’t said this yet, and it doesn’t need saying, but I just want to record it: the hospital staff, ambos, those hero country cops, and every single other person in Christchurch who lent a hand, however big or small. My god I’m in awe of you all.

Helen Clark is 100% correct in asserting that if the global social media platform companies put as much effort into algorithms for preventing of the spread of hate material as they put into targeted advertising, they could easily solve the problem.
