Yup! That's the plan. We'll be publishing our APIs in the future to allow other services to integrate with it. We just want to keep things simple while it's early.

Just merged a big refactor that I and other core members have worked on for a while to use xstate to manage some of Gatsby's most complex state transitions. Code is much simpler and reliable now!

I made a starter for creating landing pages that starts intentionally minimal and looks slick right off the bat. ⭐Check out the repo () or find it on the starter library () ⭐

💫 New post! I wrote about abstractions & progressive disclosure of complexity in apps, specifically through the lens of a site using themes. If you’re curious how we’re thinking about themes & how they can improve your workflow, check this out!

Gatsby has so many of the small but important details in place. Take image loading for instance. The helpers involved when grabbing images (resizing, serving different sizes, initial fallback, etc) are A+. (2/7)

I helped build a website in and I couldn’t have asked for a better tool for the job. Here's the website (in Swedish but I know you're only interested in the lighthouse score anyway...): (thread 1/7)

I made a video of me, making use of the useStaticQuery hook to convert the Gatsby starter to use the custom useSiteMetadata hook. I convert the layout and the seo component.
