Am not as well up on that as others as haven't been covering the story, but saw the interview and doesn't sound good at all. Hope they can find a way forward, great club and fans

Have heard one L1 club mentioned (not checked with them yet) but Championship sounds more likely from what am told

Did you do the Co-op one with Saints back in the Knowsley Road days? Up and down fitness drills then Sculthorpe and Wilkin on the pads for gauntlet-style runs. Not good. Must be miles harder nowadays too. Enjoy Matt 👍

A man far more deserving of that crown would have that info I’d think

It could be a qualification process involving all L1 clubs. Clubs themselves to decide on this

People are very quick to beat the with a stick but i am personally enthused by what im seeing in meetings under Ralph’s leadership and this and many other exciting things on the horizon look positive for the sport outside of Super League

Toronto and Toulouse won’t be in it for logistical reasons

Not confirmed either way yet - have asked. 2020 is tied into Wembley being heavily used for the Euros that year and subsequently affecting usual concert dates

They’re separate comps, and would never question integrity of RL players, not met many (any) who would be up for deliberately losing games

Think the way around that would be to ensure Challenge Cup semis are played first. Should that club then reach the final then they’d need to be replaced by their QF opponents in 1895 comp. Semis don’t have to be on same weekend. Unusual but unlikely

One way around the both competitions thing would be to ensure that the Challenge Cup semis are before 1895 one. In the unlikely event that a Champs club made the main final, they could then be replaced by their QF opponents in 1895 semis. It’s a pretty unlucky scenario though
