Sean showed me this an hour ago and I am still giddy about it. Can't wait to stop shelling out to /usr/bin/aws from my Elixir apps!

The no-semicolon people are not people I'd want to work with. They probably paid too much for nice shoes and they wear scarves when it's not cold out.

Sure, influence is everywhere forever; that's the reductive part. But when it's time to paint, or code, there is a material difference whether external parties are involved or not.

My favorite distsys paper in recent years is Eliminating Boundaries in Cloud Storage with Anna. Nothing Erlang-specific here, but great ideas ripe for the stealing.

You don't need an agency for the cookie warnings, just copy someone else's. It's all the rest of GDPR compliance you need consultants for. :)

I actually sat in a used Aeron this weekend, and I found size B to be a little narrow in the thighs. I'm gonna try and find a size C to sit in before I drop any money. Might just get another Steelcase Criterion, I love mine but it's all bust out.

Weekend hack! I went looking for a fast double-ended queue library for Elixir and came up empty, so I wrote one.

This tweet sure is a lot shorter and snappier than the whitepapers on OTs and CRDTs that make all that multiplayer design possible! <3

Smart lady -- she knows it's meant for metal repairs and wouldn't stick to glass all that well.
