Official government analysis suggests that Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal will reduce annual economic growth by 6.7% compared to staying in the EU. This is a bigger reduction in economic growth than the financial crisis of 2008-2009. Put that on a bus.

I'm in Spain this month. So many elderly brits living here trying to return to UK because of health concerns. Can the NHS cope? They can't sell their retirement homes. They are very very angry. Many of them voted leave!!

If reflects the the numbers of MPs the audience will be pro Conservative so why bother going to Liverpool or anywhere else? Surely it should reflect the make-up of the place it is being hosted. More interesting to hear different view points than Tory parrots every week.

'The appaling record of the SNP' is another huge lie becoming accepted truth in the media through endless repetition. Sadly, I believe many English commentators and politicians believe it. The implication of the phrase is that England is much better. Really? Under the Tories?

Impressed with Daniel Stendel overall. Good to deal with again at today's press conference. He's needed to be ruthless to make quick changes but there's no doubt he is up for Hearts' relegation fight. Doing his best to clear up other people's almighty mess. Wish him well.

Inane comments on Scotland by Labour's badly-briefed were bad enough; but this from is more than bizarre, it's downright offensive. Madrid's paramilitary repression of Catalonia as an exemplar? Scottish Labour have a view on this?

Lisa Nandy on "We should look outwards to other countries where they've had to deal with divisive nationalism...in places like like Catalonia". So broken heads, riot police and locking up elected politicians. Someone tell me I misheard, please.

So the narrative of the left and the right in UK politicians is to criticise the for their record in government when there are many areas where in fact Scotland is performing better- but that doesn’t get air time
