It's wild to me how frequently I see engineers attacking OSS maintainers for their priorities, documentation, or code quality. 1st: Be kind. These are humans, often volunteering their time. 2nd: Check your entitlement. If you're getting something for free, adjust expectations.

πŸ“Š Where is mobile faster than wifi? (and vice versa) πŸ‘‡ In the US, wifi tends to be faster than mobile, but this is not a universal phenomenon. "In 41% of countries mobile was faster than wifi." Data source:

Thanks, Monica! I hope it's making the topic of SEO more approachable 😊 Your talk was fantastic, btw! We need more talks like that at JS conferences. Keep rocking! πŸ’―

Well, I'm on a mission to fix the phobia in SEOs and give developers the tools and know how to build discoverable web apps πŸ’ However, saying that web apps without JS hurt UX isn't exactly a great standpoint either, IMHO. 🀷

Can the internet find out who this Bell Labs worker from 1969 or 1970 was? I love her. (Thanks to for sharing the photos, for the text idea, and for the push to meme-ify.)

It's like a barrel - whatever part has the lowest breach in it will drain the barrel, no matter how much work you put into the other parts. So I would not say "start with X". A sound technical basis *AND* good content it is, IMHO. That's what you got a team for.

SEO (a.k.a Website Discoverability in the Giant Internet Soup Age) starts with great content and ensuring the site's visibility/accessibility regardless of the client's capabilities, or its ability to execute JavaScript! πŸ” β€”a wonderful primer by Martin McMartinfaceβ„’
