CPD for Teaching TM1 is for A level teachers who are already teaching some mechanics or who wish to teach it at some point soon TM2 is for teachers who have taught M1 & possibly M2 but wish to develop their understanding of further topics

I did the Teach further maths course from (FMSP further maths support programme) it was very good. I believe they do or are involved with a similar course for A level. Might be called TAM

The question asked this the other way round, i.e. does constant probability imply independence. Independence without constant probability wouldn't contradict this.

I've spoken to our resident stats experts - these criteria are two sides of the same coin (!) - the advantage of considering them separately is that there are some situations where Binomial doesn't apply and it's easier to identify that it's not independent
