I wonder when this type of tracking will get rolled out in Whole Foods, now that Amazon owns that company

Many troubling details about Amazon’s foray into law enforcement and facial recognition, but the bit about public money fueling a proprietary product is really off.

This is a good move by Microsoft. After May 25th, companies like Google and Facebook are making the choice to deny rights to non-EU residents.

Reliable? We have uptime so long as AWS does. Adaptable? 100%. We will adapt your needs to our locked in, inflexible paradigm. Will it get used? Absolutely, when forced, or otherwise taught no other way to success Canvas makes learning easy and by learning we mean navigation.

And seriously, a "secure" application that requires kids turn off two factor authentication? The "secure" services requires bad security practice to enabled surveillance. This is not good, at all.

This breach is especially bad in its own right, but it also is compromising in that it exposes data that can be combined against other datasets. The email addresses and device IDs are very useful to identify people across data sets.

Oliver North is continuing a long and despicable tradition of misdirection from the NRA about the roots of gun violence. But, given his longstanding and well documented contempt for US law, that’s normal behavior for him.
