Taking advantage of tomato season’s best with a tangy, fresh Gazpacho. Topped with crème fraîche and cold smoked with hickory to add an extra layer of delicious flavor. Just one of the many recipes we teach in our fun cooking classes.

Our Kentucky State Fair menu was a real winner and loaded with farm freshness – corn and zucchini cakes topped with hickory smoked avocado sour cream crema, and buttermilk marinated chicken that was grilled and glazed with a peach barbeque sauce. All served over fresh arugula.

Special thanks to everyone who came yesterday to our cooking demonstration at the Kentucky State Fair Gourmet Garden stage. Chef Jake and Chef Kathy made farm fresh yummy zucchini corn cakes with smoked avocado crema topped with grilled chicken and fresh peach barbecue sauce!

It's time to celebrate summer berries & whipped cream with individual Pavlovas. Easy to make, vanilla meringue shell bases are filled with sweet whipped cream & topped with seasonal fresh raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries. Makes a light and refreshing dessert!

Our Mushroom Tart is one yummy dinner for Meatless Monday. Ten layers of Phyllo dough make a super crispy crust filled with a delicious, smooth creamy base of crème fraîche, parmesan, & rosemary topped with sautéed mushrooms, onion, & thyme then topped with more green onions.

A simple stove top pasta that won’t heat up the kitchen. Sous vide chicken thighs in an easy, creamy stove-top sauce full of orange and sage then topped with fried sage leaves right before serving. One of the many sous vide dishes we love to teach in our classes.

Seasonal fresh plum sauce makes a brilliant contrast to our Ginger Gelato. Made using grated fresh ginger, the ice cream has a clean fresh taste to contrast against the sweet, tart Plum Sauce. The perfect way to cool off on a hot day.

The mystical Pink Dragon Fruit touch- it turns Mango Lemonade a magical shade of brilliant fuchsia. We added ½ cup of chopped pink dragon fruit to 3 cups lemonade & ½ cup Mango Nectar. Let it rest for a few minutes to do it’s thing, then stir to a beautiful shade of bright pink.
