Freeman City Council votes unanimously Monday, Sept. 17 to proceed with efforts to pursue a purchase agreement and operate Valley View Golf Course. The motion authorizes city officials to purchase Back Nine LLC assets as well as the 75.8 acres of land on which on the course sits.

announce new route for the 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14 homecoming parade. Parade will start by Freeman Community Center at Wipf and 2nd streets, head west to Main, then south to Seventh (Salem Home corner), back east past Oakview Terrace and then back to the school.
