It is astonishing that Jaggi is repeatedly not presented at court and the judges take no action. There was a point when numerous Punjab police officers would be bringing Jaggi to court for his police remands.

As each hearing passes, the Indian legal system is being exposed for serving their own agenda and solidifies the words echoed by Jaggi a few months ago when he said there is “no justice for Sikhs” in India.

In terms of the cases, the facts remain the same from almost 1 year ago. There has been no evidence produced and there has been no statement given by anybody to suggest Jaggi was involved in any of the crimes he has been accused of.

The defence is not allowed to present any case as the burden of truth is upon the prosecution and they turn up empty handed at almost every hearing and the judge allows them opportunity after opportunity to present their "case" by adjourning the hearing dates.

The plan for this hearing appears to show collusion between the prosecution and the judges office as the orginal citation for presenting witnesses was set for a public holiday and no follow up was carried out to issue new citations for today's hearing.

The officers claimed to have evidence linking Jaggi to crimes and have not managed to produce any in almost 1 year. We wait to see what new excuse Punjab police and the prosecution come up with tomorrow and what drama will play out.
