Many people think GDPR no longer applies in the UK post-Brexit, but that is false. GDPR was incorporated into UK law as the Data Protection Act 2018, which is still the law of the land. There is far more nuance and detail to this than 's tweet suggests.

I have a genuine question that I can't find anything so far to answer: how much of the attainment gap is poverty-related? Does anyone know? How is it measured? I'm not being cynical here; I really want to understand what the metrics are.

We were discussing this at work this week. The sense we are getting is that National 5 has gotten easier to achieve A/B grades in while Higher has not, therefore fewer candidates are being denied entry to Higher courses on the basis of S4 results.
