    Yeah that's probably it, I knew Macklin did the Bubsy and Maniac Mansion covers but I didn't realize he did game animation too!

    Ken Macklin designed and animated Bubsy in parts 1 and 2. He also did work for LucasArts, so this was probably them poking fun at him?

    I miss these giant tomes. They printed only the black plates to save money but it really brings out the art in ways that you miss with color. Plus it's cool to read X-Men like it's an 80s indie comic.

    Anyway if you want Neal's Batman art this is secretly the best book for it. It's HUGE and reprints only the line work without colors. All modern reprints re-color his stuff and it just doesn't look as good.

    I'll never forget going to Comic-Con a million years ago and going "oh cool Neal Adams made an indie film" and walking into a crazy conspiracy theory film he made about the Earth shrinking or whatever. I had no idea. The debates in the Q&A were amazing.

    This is an absolutely perfect example of a game that loses meaning without historical context. Without it, it's a weird indie shooter. With it, it's a time capsule to a strange time when console makers were struggling to figure out indies, and an incredible joke.

    I honestly love that half this trailer is just explaining this was even about, before saying what the game even is. This game was entirely built around making reference to a very specific aspect of the Xbox 360 dashboard that was only up for a few months.
