Is there an argument to make the semi-finals the best-of-25? Not much needs to change except no morning session tomorrow & Saturday . Still a one table set-up and still 17 days. This round can move v.slowly & players often fatigued going into final.

Huge overreaction to me simply asking a question. I doubt it’ll ever happen so sleep easy.

100%. Semis are usually the least exciting round of the competition

I’ve long thought they should play 9-9-11 and make the semis first to 15 over three sessions.

Drop the second round to best of 19 with semis as Best of 29 with Saturday as a rest day for both players?

As a snooker fan the longer the event the better but as a player I can imagine it being a nightmare. But Hendry had to do it so players of today need to keep that standard.

Nope, don`t fix what is not broken, think there should be a days rest between semis and final
