The nasal swabs are medical devices and manufacturers are required to register and list with the FDA. Formlabs has FDA registered facilities where we will be printing them, and the hospitals we are working with will be printing on-site for their own needs.

We’re producing up to 150,000 swabs per day with 250+ printers at our FDA-registered facility in Ohio to address the stockouts facing hospitals. Over a weekend, & developed prototypes that received a variety of hospital approvals.
