One target region is the lateral accessory calyx (lACA) for which we produced a complete connectome. As suspected it provides input to the mushroom body (a memory centre). Temperature and humidity are crucial senses. In insects, they are mostly detected by the antennae (like smell). Sensory neurons project to “VP” glomeruli in the brain.
