I just got home - been awake 13 hours, been gone for 12. I’m exhausted. I’m hurting. I’m ready to eat AND drink my feelings. Then there’s this in my mailbox - which I read standing up (despite being on my feet all day) Thank you for saving the day

From an amazing high last weekend with to the lowest of lows. Yesterday at 9:47 am we said goodby to Max, aged 14. The tumor in his brain was causing progressive damage & the horrible choice had to be made.

Possibly the best interview of Sam I’ve yet seen! Whether it was the whisky, the exhaustion, whatever! Thank you!

I was 🤨 at your “gangster”. We are heathens down here; open containers are de rigeur (no glass!) ESPECIALLY in the Quarter and DEFINITELY during (Try one of our drive thru daiquiri shops - it’s not an open container til the straw goes in 😜)

So glad you’re enjoying our beautiful state! Wish I could have spent some time with you. My friend saw you on the floor but didn’t want to interrupt your conversation. I slapped him upside the head 😂

There were so much we were trying to say. You were so generous with your time but this project means so much to us that it was hard to condense everything down. We hope you do read the notes & to hear back from you soon.
