Was a big help. I appreciate anyone who saves me from having to write code myself and does a good job 🙂

This is for watching replays, not netplay. You can open the desktop app and you should get a popup at the top telling you to update. Or you can just download the latest from or GitHub

I sincerely apologize to the Mac and Linux users. We've had a lot of important issues come up that have slowed our work on it but it is very close.

Windows release: Desktop app 1.5.0 Adds a seek bar to replays courtesy of and a whole lot more. Additionally fixes issues with rollback Pokemon Stadium desyncs and replays that paused themselves Mac/Linux netplay next

He seemed a little concerned about why he was in the bathtub.

For the curious: this is an issue with the spiral animation after the throw. You can see in the clip that desyncs, Luigi spirals out of the throw but in reality the spiral should not have happened. This desync is discussed in my article about the subject

Unfortunate for the comedy, but it does seem like this is fixed on the latest playback codeset. Will be part of next desktop app release.

Could you send me the replay in Discord please?

What in the... There shouldn't be anything this bad on FoD lol. Do you perhaps have a frozen code on during playback or something?

I see. Well in that case, we already linked to the GitHub release page with patch notes when we announced it:

Can't tell if this is supposed to be a joke in very poor taste or if you're actually being serious.

Use it to watch your replays.

Yeah, we are suggesting that in the Discord for people who don't want to wait.

Oh also. I'm aware that your replays on PS are desyncing because of transformations. They will all be properly watchable when we release the next desktop app version, which we are working on.

Since there are a lot of people asking: Your replays have moved. The default is now Documents/Slippi, but you can configure it from the Dolphin UI

We are growing... What we're hearing about is the result of a complicit community and overarching culture It's important to note that calling out the small things such as objectifying a woman could go a long way towards preventing the major problems It's not funny—it's serious

For those who need it explained: not being complicit means calling people out when they do or say something that's wrong. This is especially true if the wrongdoer is your friend, they will be more likely to listen to you.
FIZZI#36 Jul 2
It's an embarrassment to our community that so many of our own have hurt others that likely viewed it as their safe space. We need to be better as a community. Not being awful goes without saying but also please do not be complicit. We must become a safer, more welcoming place.

It works on my LAN but I have heard reports that it doesn't work on all of them. Might be something I look into in the future.

We removed LRAS from the CSS because of people accidentally quitting out of their lobbies after using LRAS to exit a game. We may come up with a better fix for this issue later, this was just a quick way to solve it.

The one that freezes before a disconnect is a different issue than the one I fixed and affects much fewer people. It's likely something about your connection/hardware that is causing the connection to be severed with your opponent. Atm I don't really know much more than that.
FIZZI#36 Jun 30
We pushed hotfixes to some issues in 2.1.0. New replays will now play properly and the 30 second disconnect people were experiencing should be fixed.
FIZZI#36 Jun 30
Known issue, will be fixed soon and the affected replays will be salvageable.

No, we will be able to salvage them.
