I once dated a girl who went to this church. She said every year the church takes idea submissions with express goal of getting in the news.

is Painfully Real. Beautiful. Its achingly realistic that most of the frames and dialogues just hit you straight. Charlie and Nicole, are mostly what you see in Many of the After Happy Endings. The concept of " You never loved me as Much as I did " is what it is.

Held it together through the entirety of and then the letter scene happened. Fuck. I don’t care what awards he gets, that’s the best performance I’ve seen all year.

is a blistering, emotional knockout led by stunning performances from a brilliant cast. Noah Baumbach’s script and direction are so refined and feel so organic that the film becomes a completely raw and natural meditation into a family falling apart.

everyone on here needs to watch The Last Five Years imo. a divorce told from two perspectives; one from first date to divorce, one from divorce to first date. they meet in the middle, then are torn apart again.

There was a line in that hit me like a bus, and it was something like “you shouldn’t be upset that I fucked her, you should be upset that I had a laugh with her.” Jugular, that one.

Please watch Marriage Story on Netflix. It’s about as good as a movie can possibly get.

Marriage Story is like.... perfect. AGGRESSIVELY good. And GORGEOUS. So anti-cinema by modern standards. There’s no flashiness or masturbatory lighting. It just LOOKS like a camera, in a room, with people acting their assess off.
