Depends on genre, but you could always try Konx Am Pax or Blanck Mass (to be fair, I listen to them both recreationally, anyway!). If you don’t speak French, some Alcest might work (good soundtrack for Diablo too). Resident Evil Afterlife soundtrack by TomandAndy maybe?

Can we all just agree that he is equally cool as Shockwave? Okay, maybe he’s a little cooler...

I love that the noose as well - seems like another shout back to the original Confrontation venator concepts that morphed into the original Cawdor gang :) Also, need more candles on minis!

Interesting and thoughtful article - thank you for sharing your thoughts! I would definitely be interested to see what you make of them when they are released :)

My initial thought was, surely that’s more of a Chamon type thing? But the Realm of Metal already has a strong literal and symbolic alchemical theme, so clockwork, as something incredibly complex but ultimately predictable (if you understand it) is a good fit for Hysh...

Seriously though, there’s some genuinely interesting stuff going on - what’s with the Realm-marked protagonists? Also, more insight into what some of the other Mortal Realms might be like thematically - clockwork and construction associated with Hysh/the Realm of Light?

I’m actually more intrigued by the side of things - so, people have been asking for more stories about normal folk in the Mortal Realms, right? delivers! ;)

Okay, few quick thoughts on Firstly, that art is rad, and if I collected Necrons I would be very tempted by that colour scheme (also telling that the 40k book is titled Attack of the Necron - singular, as in, a single Necron is scary enough!)

Well, that makes me feel a little better about missing it so completely, then!

Somehow, I missed that awesome art when reading through that article - contextualises it all a bit 😳

Adeptus Titanicus looks very swish, I won’t be starting yet another system until I’ve spent more time and paint on everything else! Look forward to seeing what everyone else does with their Knights and Titans though!

As someone who has really gotten into Podcasts this last year, I am HYPE for the new StormCast. Hamerhal Herald and the webcomic should be good, too 😄

The new Nighthaunt minis look very interesting, a nice mix of classic archetypes and new ideas... I’m particularly loving the horse-headed wraith things. Sacrosanct chamber looks good, and a lot of the models are really growing on me too - will be interested to see/find out more!

(this was one of my main issues with Fantasy Battle at the end, the Old World felt too crowded to make your own stories).

Suspect I’ll end up picking up the core book anyway at some point, looking forward to reading more about the Realms and how they work. Maps are good, just as long as there are enough blank spaces to do my own thing too
