My vision for Britain is simple: I want this to be the best country to grow up in and the best country to grow old in.

A faculty member has been asking how to stop Zoom from removing his head when he uses a virtual background. We suggested the usual plain background, good lighting etc, but it didn't work. I was in a meeting with him today when I realized why it was happening.

I cannot emphasize this enough: if you want to design UX for VR/AR headsets it should also be incredibly important to you that you study accessibility and inclusive design. The FOUNDATIONS of our products are based on our users' sensory, physical, and cognitive abilities.

Re ministers telling us that we should report people breaking lockdown rules to the police, does this apply to people breaking international law as well?

UK GOVERNMENT: Eat out to help out. Get back to normal by Christmas. Have a haircut. Stop homeschooling. Get to the office. Go to the pub. Relax. Be happy. Here's a half price voucher at Nando's. ALSO UK GOVERNMENT: Young people have been socialising too much.

It is so confusing. I don’t know who to trust any more. On one side epidemiologists are saying take Covid seriously, and on the other side there are some middle-aged celebrities I liked in 1992 telling us it’s all a hoax. Who to choose?
