I agree, but I wouldn't phrase it as "missing the point". I'd say - I didn't specify what data a local state might be consisted of and which types of that data can be completely replaced by React-Querry :) Storing API responses is just one of the things one might need to store.

Should you replace Redux in favor of React-Query for client state management? 👇 Think twice 🤔

For the past month, I've experienced coordinated harassment via 4chan on one of my GitHub repos. Yes, the platform I work on. Doing much better after taking time off & getting support from my circle. 💜 I'm ready to share my experience, so here it is:

Being able to focus is a game changer. I've been tracking my ability to focus for three months in a row and I can't express enough how surprised I am after having analysed all the data. Today I share my experience with everyone

My favorite part of this is that you can use the same mock request handlers in developing your app as you do in your tests. I'm going to write more about this, but it is a huge powerful productivity tool and makes your tests better than mocking axios/fetch 💯

"I don't have time to write tests". Do you have time to: 1. Run the app manually after each change 2. Investigate and fix broken builds 3. Investigate and fix QA errors 4. Investigate and fix production errors Add all that up. Writing automated tests *saves* time.
