UNDER TEST... Hunslet Engine Co. 4-6-0T Works No.1215 of 1916 has just paid a visit to Harbour Station as part of its fitness to run / gauging test exam... Now who wouldn't want to ride behind this stunning loco..?

Not so 'off the beaten track'... Average train journey time between London Euston and Bangor is 3 hrs 13 mins - with 6 trains on an average weekday. Frequent bus service Bangor station to Caernarfon, journey time around 30mins. Lots of hotels and accommodation in the area...

They're slate waggons rather than coaches ... we haven't quite got round to recreating our original gravity passenger trains* - yet..! *In the 1860s downhill trains ran in three sections - gravity passenger carriages, gravity waggons, light steam loco...
