A square inscribed in a semicircle has 2/5 the area of a square inscribed in the circle of the same radius. 🧐 pic.twitter.com/f3hG51CYhm

The big square's sides can be seen as diagonals of a 1 by 3 rectangle. Through the pythagorean theorum, 1²+3²=(side length)², so the side length is √10, and the area 10. The little square is 2 by 2, so it uas an area of 4. 4/10 is two fifths

"Visual proof" is an oxymoron. Here's visual proof 64 = 65. pic.twitter.com/xVMLLhMpxc

But the yellow area in one shape is visually provable to not equal the other:
[1] 2 x (2x3) + 2x5 + 1x3 = 25
[2] 3x8 = 24
So the visual proof is still valid as a proof of something (equality or inequality).

Nah that's just a @ symbol. Must have made it and instinctively put his watermark on it. Ya know to draw people to his page. I dont suspect any copyright Intent or scummy play like that.
